Implementation of a Multichannel Trigger Scheduling Read-out Circuit

  • During the measurement of the 101Sn level lifetime, identifying double α events in the decay chain requires a low signal processing deadtime and the ability to schedule experimental particle events for electronics. A readout electronics circuit with multi-channel trigger scheduling is designed, which is able to read out the waveform of detector signals and complete energy extraction of hit event. In the meantime, a fast scheduling architecture is designed in the circuit, which on the one hand realizes the read-out correlation of physical events in time and space dimension, and on the other hand realizes the optimization of hardware resource consumption by the proposed minimum scheduling planning method. This paper presents the design of the electronics system, along with a series of performance tests. The preliminary results indicate that the system's deadtime is 80 ns and the energy resolution accuracy of each channel is better than 5.9‰ FWHM under 1 V input; the system supports multi-channel flexible trigger scheduling, and after scheduling, multiple events are similar in time dimension, adjacent in position dimension; the overall hardware resource usage is reduced by 77.03 percent after resource optimization. The test results indicate that the readout system conforms to its specifications.
