Investigation on Quantum Chaos in Heavy and Superheavy Nuclei

  • Some aspects of quantum chaos in a finite system had been studied based on the analysis of statistical behaviors of quantum spectra in heavy and superheavy nuclei. The dependence of the transition from order to chaos on nuclear deformation and nuclear rotatation had been described. The influence of pairing effect on the statistical properties of spectra is also discussed.
