Abstract: The Hg products produced in the bombardment of natural lead targets by 18 O beam of 8.4 MeV/u were separated by means of an off line gas thermochromategraphic device. The coincident gamma spectra and time successive single γ ray spectra were measured. Except the already known γ rays, nine new γ rays assigned to the transitions between the known levels of 208 Tl were observed.
