SESRI 300 MeV加速器全装置高精度同步性自动化监测系统研究

Study on High-precision Automatic Monitoring System for the Synchronization of 300 MeV Accelerator in SESRI

  • 摘要: 随着加速器装置磁场上升率的不断提升,硬件设备之间的同步性对加速器装置的调试运行和最终性能指标有着越来越严重的影响,因此对硬件设备进行高精度同步性测量和校正是十分关键的。在国家十二五重大基础设施项目——空间环境地面模拟装置SESRI 300 MeV离子加速器中实现了全装置自动同步性测量系统,完成了对全装置的同步性测量和校正。该系统将SESRI装置各设备间的同步性校正到10 μs量级,极大地提高了SESRI的调试效率和束流指标。测量结果表明,全装置自动同步性测量系统大幅提升了同步性测量精度和实时性,能够快速、准确地测量非谐振快循环加速器装置的同步性。

     

    Abstract: As the ramping rate of magnetic field in ion accelerators becomes larger and larger, the synchronization between all hardware has much more detrimental impacts on the beam commissioning, operation, and the facility performance. It is necessary to measure and correct the synchronization of all accelerator hardware a whole-facility automatic synchronization measurement system is built in the SESRI, a major infrastructure project of the National Twelfth Five-Year Plan. The system corrects the synchronization between the SESRI hardware devices to about 10 μs, and greatly improves the commissioning efficiency and performance of the SESRI. All results show that the automatic synchrotron measurement system can significantly improve the accuracy and the real-time capability of the synchronization measurements, which makes it possible to measure the synchronization of non-resonant rapid-cycling accelerators quickly and accurately.
