Abstract: In this paper, the multilayer model was established to calculate γradiation nonuniform shielding problem, and various combinations of methods were investigated to determine the optimal option. At the same time, the comprehensive analysis of the simulation results, the theoretical calculation and the experimental measurements show that the consistency among them. Practical significance is also shown that the application of Monte Carlo method to simulate the nonuniform shielding feasibility and multilayer shielding design.
