  • A control system used in beam foil spectroscopy and lifetim e measurement is developed. The system can be used to measure the spectra and li fetime of highly charged ions. The design philosophy and the result of the test experiments are described in this paper.

Abstract: A control system used in beam foil spectroscopy and lifetim e measurement is developed. The system can be used to measure the spectra and li fetime of highly charged ions. The design philosophy and the result of the test experiments are described in this paper.
